Come and spend the morning learning how to applique using the traditional technique of needle turn. This is an applique technique where the edge of the needle is used to turn the raw edge of the fabric under. Kelly will show you how to trace a pattern onto the fabric and then applique it using the most beautiful fabrics. Completely hand sewn and completely satifying - perfecting this techique will give so much scope to your patchwork and quilting.
If possible you will need to bring -
a light box
All other applique materials and fabrics will be provided.
This class is suitable for those who have done some patchwork and machine sewing before.
All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house.
If, for any unforseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
